This week on the blog we are heading back to my old stomping grounds of Illinois!!! Can you believe its been 5 months since we left Illinois for good? How time flies when you’re in a warmer location. I do miss some things about Illinois, mainly the friends we made but overall we are happier in California. The two places I have planned for this week are places I wanted to go check out but wasn’t able to. A Death For Christmas

The topic of today’s post is a haunted location that has intrigued me for a while now. I first heard of this case when it appeared on My Ghost Story and then again later on Ghost Hunters. I don’t know what it is about this haunted location but this is one of the cases that is often in the back of my mind. The Ladies Of The Afterlife Are Waiting For You Here

On this blog we have cover a variety of different places from private residences to hotels and camp sites to castles and movie theaters but we have yet to talk about a brothel. That changes today as we talk about the longest running brothel in United States history. The Dumas Brothel was established in Butte Montana back in 1890 and was open as a brothel until 1982. The title of today’s post comes from lyric in a song written by Loretta Lynn. While she may have written the song about her friend, Patsy Cline, Loretta may have also been inspired by her own haunted house.
