While Jeremy and I were staying in Peoria briefly last year, we got the chance to go down to Alton, Illinois for the evening for a talk by one of my favorite paranormal authors. While we were down there I had hoped to have a chance to drive by today’s topic but unfortunately an accident caused us to run later than we were planning. Beware What Stalks The Woods…

It seems like everywhere I turn lately (especially places like TikTok and Facebook), someone is talking about Wendigo or Skinwalkers. While similar and often confused to be the same thing, they are actually two different Native American folklore. I will devote a post diving into what a Skinwalker for a later date. We Are Alive. I Promise!

Octobers usually are my busy season because that is typically when everyone seems to be more focused on the paranormal, thanks to Halloween, but I was not expecting to be this busy, and it wasn’t even the paranormal that made things crazy. It was just life in general. I didn’t even realize that Halloween is in eight days (well, five days when this post goes live) until I saw something about Halloween on Facebook.
