If you follow my social media at all, you know that this move has been insanely chaotic. We were suppose to be out here months ago. In fact our entire house in Seymour, IL was packed up on July 15th. At the time we were planning on staying in a hotel for a week until Jeremy checked out of his command. A few days after the movers came, we found out that Jeremy wouldn’t be able to check out as planned because there was an issue with his re-enlistment that hadn’t been approved yet. Continue reading The Road To San Diego
It has been a crazy few months since I have last posted on here. Between the move, setting up our house, and exploring San Diego, I have been busy on other projects. I had started a second blog but realized that I hate having two blogs especially since I think a lot of y’all would enjoy the posts that I have been sharing over there. They aren’t exactly paranormal related but they are our lives, experiences, and housewife related stuff. Over the next few days, I’ll be posting those blogs on this website and shutting down that blog. I will also be having the paranormal posts as well. I hope y’all like the new posts and more of an insight into our lives. Continue reading And We Are Back!!!
Well… Greetings from Illinois. Yeah. We are back in Illinois. You are probably just as shock as we were when we found out we had to head back here. To be honest, I am still trying to process my emotions and feelings about this change of events, but I am trying to find the silver lining. Continue reading Are We There Yet?
Shortly after Jeremy and I moved to Illinois, I had joined a few Meetup.com groups to make some new friends. One group I joined was a group of older adults that would meet weekly for trivia nights. I LOVE trivia games. I know a lot of useless and random facts which are useful for trivia games. The first time I met up with this group, they were doing a trivia game at a local pizzeria. The members of the group were amazing with the answers throughout the entire game until the final question. Continue reading Where Did Everyone Go?
One place we checked out last week was an university that is around the corner from my mom’s house. Elon University has grown so much since I used to live in the Triangle. Just a few years ago, it went from a small private college to a state university. Driving around campus, we wondered if there were any spirits on campus. Turns out there are a few ghosts! Continue reading Ghosts Of Elon’s Past
One day while searching through local points of interests, I was surprised to see that there is a paranormal museum a couple of hours from my mom’s house. I had to go see it. Jeremy and I decided to go check it out earlier this week. The museum is located in Littleton, North Carolina which is about 1hour 40 minutes from Mom’s house. Since they advertised haunted dolls on their website, Jeremy and I decide to take Elizabeth, our haunted doll, with us to see if she would interact with them. Continue reading Hunting For New Adventures With Elizabeth
It’s crazy how life works sometimes. So much has happened since my last post. I know it’s been a while since my last post. I took a break for a couple of reasons that I had mentioned in that post. The initial reason was so I could heal from my surgery. After that, I needed to focus on our move to San Diego. Continue reading Life Has Been Crazy…
I have sat down so many times to start this post, and I either have too many thoughts in my head to write coherently, or something pulls me away from my computer. I feel like I am being pulled in so many directions at once, just trying to get everything done. I’m trying to get things done, but lately, it seems like no matter what I get done, my to-do list is getting longer and longer. Continue reading Becoming A Butterfly
Today was absolutely gorgeous, and I was having a craptastic day where everything I tried to get done ended up being ten times harder than it should have been. I was frustrated and grumpy and just needed a break. I picked up some Panera and drove around to try to find a park to eat at. Unfornutaly, every single park I went to was quite crowded, and even if I wasn’t worried about COVID, none were quiet enough to let me relax. Continue reading Finding Quiet Among The Craziness
Back home, in North Carolina, I often heard of different places that were haunted. Especially hotels. The hotels in today’s post I haven’t had the pleasure of investigating in person yet but I plain to soon. The spirits tied to these hotels are popular and quite active. So much so that one of these hotels made the Washington Post’s list of thirteen most haunted hotels in America. Continue reading Carolina Spirits Wander Through These Hotels
I grew up hearing about both of these spirits. One because she is the most famous hitchhiking spirt in the United States. The other because not only is she locally known to those that live in near High Point, North Carolina but either my uncle or his friend has had the privilege of meeting her. Continue reading Dancing Her Way Home
