Walking In Their Ghostly Footsteps

When I go to historic location, I love to imagine what life was like when that building was built. Who passed through those halls, what conversations were spoken aloud in the rooms, etc? There is a place in Louisiana where the past is still walking the halls and chatting in the rooms. Beware What Stalks You In The Swamp

I find inspiration for these posts from a variety of different places. Some are topics I have grown up hearing about. Some are suggested by y’all. Some are things that I come across while researching other topics. And then sometimes I get inspiration from television shows which is how one of today’s topic came about. As soon as I heard the word, I was intrigued. Since then I have been trying to learn more about this interesting urban legend. Researching the rougarou lead me to learning about the second topic of today’s post, the Honey Island Swamp Monster. Continue reading Beware What Stalks You In The Swamp

Of course, if I had a chance to live in a home as beautiful as the Henderson Castle Inn, I wouldn’t let a little thing like death keep me from my beautiful home.  Continue reading This Jewel Comes With Guardian Angels
