When I go to historic location, I love to imagine what life was like when that building was built. Who passed through those halls, what conversations were spoken aloud in the rooms, etc? There is a place in Louisiana where the past is still walking the halls and chatting in the rooms. Between this move and all of it’s surprises, Bagheera getting sick, me getting sick (thankfully it was only a cold but it knocked me out for most of the weekend), and the military screwing up Jeremy’s pay last week, we needed a break and something to get us into the Christmas spirit.
